Friday night I played at Tailgates for the first time since the end of last spring. Well I have to tell you that I was very pleasantly surprised because the venue seems to have a new lease on life. The place was hoppin' all night long with people packed in shoulder to shoulder. Mark (the owner) seems to have found the magic combo. I start the evening off with blues and classic rock at happy hour from 5 to 8pm, then DJ Shubie provides the tunes for the rest of the night. It's a One-Two Punch of great music.... Dub then Shubie. I like to refer to it as Shubie-Dubie. Its a great time. Come check it out. Saturday night, Halloween, I entertained the Ghouls and Goblins at Signal Restaurant / bar in Skipjack Cove Marina. There were dancing mermaids, vampires and all kinds of other scary s#!t. It was pretty cool. The only thing missing was a Phillies victory. Oh well.... At least the win last night kept them alive. Like they say, "It ain't over 'til the fat lady sings" and Kate Smith is dead. Next Friday I am back at Tailgates...... BE THERE! Come check out what all the excitement is all about.
Saturday I
am at Bogey's. There are a lot of Phillies fans at Bogey's.
Hopefully we will be celebrating another Phillies World Series victory.
